Privacy
In short: there are no accounts and no cookies, and nothing is collected that says who you are. Your bed stays in your own browser. We count visits to pages, with no way to tell who made them.

Who is responsible
bloooooooom.com is run by Chris Kortschot, in Ontario, Canada. For anything about privacy, write to [email protected].
What stays on your device
The planner runs in your browser. The bed you draw, its setup and the plan you are working on are kept in your browser's own storage (called local storage), so they are still there when you come back. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. The browser also keeps a few notes on how you left the page, such as whether you have opened the Eye level view and whether More controls is open, and a copy of the site's files so it works offline.
To remove all of it, clear this site's data in your browser's settings. A private window keeps nothing after it closes.
None of this is a cookie, and nothing in it is used to follow you from site to site.
Links and pictures you make
The Link button writes your whole bed into the web address, after a "#". Browsers never send that part of an address to the website, so we don't receive your bed. Anyone you give the link to can open the bed, and the app you send it through (email, chat) can see it too.
The Picture button draws the picture on your own device. Nothing is uploaded.
Counting visits
We use Plausible Analytics to see how many people visit each page and how they found it. Plausible uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device. For each visit it records the page's address (without the "#" part, so never your bed), the site you came from, your type of browser, device and operating system, and your country, region and city, which it works out from your IP address.
Your IP address itself is not stored. Plausible combines it with your browser details to make an anonymous code that changes every day, which lets it count a visitor once in a day without knowing who they are. We see only totals. Plausible is an EU company and keeps the counts on servers in the EU.
Our web host
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like every web host, Cloudflare receives your IP address and browser details with each request, so that it can send you the page and protect the site from attacks. If Cloudflare suspects an attack, it may ask your browser to prove it is not a robot and set a short-lived security cookie. We don't use any of this to identify visitors.
If you write to us, we keep your message and address only to answer you, and we don't add you to any list. Ask us and we will delete the conversation.
What we don't do
- No accounts, sign-ins or forms.
- No advertising, and no advertising or social media trackers.
- No selling or sharing of anything about you.
- No fonts or scripts loaded from other sites, apart from Plausible's counting script.
Children
We collect nothing that identifies anyone, of any age.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Apart from emails you send us, we hold nothing that identifies you, so there is usually nothing to give. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or to the privacy authority where you live.
Changes
If the site starts keeping anything new, such as accounts or saved beds, this page will say so before it starts, and the date at the top will change.
